What is the mission of the Foundation?
The Clay City Excellence in Education Foundation is an independent charitable foundation committed to promoting, enhancing and assisting in funding projects, capital expenditures, and other creative ideas that support, encourage, and promote “academic excellence” for the students of the Clay City Unit 10 School District.

How is the Foundation governed?
Foundation activities are determined by a 7-member board comprised of former graduates of the Clay City school district. Board members come from various professional, academic, and vocational backgrounds, and are committed to promoting educational opportunities in the community.

Is the Foundation affiliated with the Board of Education?

No. Though the Foundation has established a working relationship with the Board its mission is to supplement the educational opportunities and resources that are not currently being offered in the school district.
